Graduate Student Instructor


I treat teaching as a form of care, rooted in a genuine desire to educate and to care for the souls of our students. I received the 2025 Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award from the University of Michigan Sociology Department and was subsequently selected for the 2026 Rackham Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award, a university-wide honor recognizing graduate instructors nominated by their programs for teaching excellence. 


I have teaching experience and interest in Gender and Sexuality, Economic Sociology, Sociological Theory, Political Economy, Labor and Work, Science and Technology Studies, and Qualitative Methods.
